Privacy Policy

Effective November 7, 2026

opensus is a suspension design tool for race cars, operated by Brian Glen ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use opensus at opensus.app, why, and the choices you have.

In short: your suspension designs stay in your own browser. We keep only what is needed to run your account, your subscription and the feedback you choose to send. We don't sell your information, show ads, or use tracking or analytics cookies.

Your designs

Everything you design in opensus, and your settings, is saved in your own browser's storage on your device. It is not sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data deletes it. A design reaches us only if you choose to attach it to a feedback report.

Google sign-in

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account, and nothing else: we do not access your Gmail, contacts, files or any other Google data. We use this information only to create your opensus account, sign you in, and show your name in the app. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers below that run opensus, do not sell it, and do not use it for advertising. You can remove opensus's access at any time from your Google account's security settings.

Cookies and browser storage

opensus uses your browser's storage to keep you signed in and to save your designs, settings and screen layout. We use no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking cookies. Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout pages to process payment securely.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that run opensus for us, who may use it only to provide their service:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others. If opensus is ever transferred to a new owner, your information would move with it under this policy, and we would tell you first.

These providers may process information in the United States and other countries. We rely on their standard contractual safeguards for international transfers.

How long we keep it

Your choices and rights

You can see and change your name in Account settings, and change your password there if you use email sign-in. You can cancel a subscription at any time through "Manage billing". To get a copy of your information, correct it, or delete your account and everything we hold about it, email support@opensus.app. We will act on your request within 30 days.

Depending on where you live, including California and the European Economic Area, you may have further rights, such as to object to or restrict processing or to complain to a data protection authority. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined in California law. Where the law requires a legal basis, we process information to provide the service you asked for, to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interest in running and securing opensus.

Security

Connections to opensus are encrypted, passwords are stored only as secure hashes, and access to stored information is restricted by user. No service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Children

opensus is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. For significant changes we will let account holders know by email or in the app before they take effect.
